Franklin Artsy (Electric) Box
The town of Franklin is a small area in Norfolk County Massachusetts with a deep relationship with nature. It is also home to the country’s first library. When I was creating this design for an electric box I decided to look at the goddess Persephone and how she has been portrayed throughout art history (a theme in my work at the time). The final design is as follows. Created in May 2023 you can still see this electric box in the town of Franklin at the corner of West Central and Union streets.
